Confessions of a Military Wife:

Don’t count my empty wine bottles or cheese

Count the ones I have not drank please.

Everyday I go through this life

Trying to be a great Officers wife.

People never care the stress my families under

When I am out here trying to be strong and raise two Beautiful daughters.

And No I didn’t know what I signed up for

Military Life I thought would be cool, not always be in war.

There is always a war against us

Whether we see it coming or not.

It’s so Political in these times

But we still have to count our nickels and dimes.

I am an Officers wife then a civilian

But other wives look at me and smirk and say this Bitch thinks she has millions.

Yes, I do I am rich in love

And GOD knows I always look to him above.

I come from such a damaged passed

That’s why you don’t even want to ask.

Just because I walk by my own rules, doesn’t mean that I am not definitely cool.

I am just an ordinary Military wife, trying to lead a prosperous life.

BEING A NAVY WIFE

Is it just me or do I meet the most needy other military spouses in the world!!! They act as though they can not breathe if their husbands did not tell them too. It is hillarious sometimes to watch but at the same time SAD!!!! It seems as though all of them are on anti depressants of same shape, form, or fashion. If you think you are depressed just become a military wife and you are sure to get prescribed some type of anti depressant. I mean I am not saying that some people do not need them but damn I am the only one of my friends in the military that is not on them. Some of my girlfriends have even told me how to go about and get them... Look I don't need anything that makes me feel like I am high.... I am just high off of life in general. I understand the sacrifices that we go through being a military spouse, but I always try to think of the rewards we get as being military spouses there are many perks that civilians do not get!!!
